(Short & Long term positions available) The Broome Adventure Company employs staff to run Guided kayaking, Ocean Rafting and Walking tours of the Broome peninsula with a high level of customer focus. Peak season for employment is between Mid April - Mid October with shoulder seasons on either side. We are seeking staff that have a high energy and professional attitude, current Senior First Aid Certificate and outstanding people skills. If you can entertain a group of people and have had previous experience guiding kayaks or rafts before we would love to hear from you. Knowledge of natural and marine environments is an advantage. Lead Sea Kayak / ECO-Raft/ Walking Guide Must have had previous sea kayak guiding experience and relevant industry qualifications or logbook time. Senior first aid or higher required. Exceptional people skills and outgoing personality a must for this job. Must be able to solo lead trips with up to 7 customers and Lead with an assistant with 14 customers. Lead guide's role is flexible enough to include Kayak, Raft and Walking tours as well as some basic office/phone duties. Assistant Sea Kayak / ECO-Raft/ Walking Guide Must have had previous kayaking and tourism experience. Role is to assist leader in all aspects of trip operations and interact with customers. Senior first aid or higher required. Exceptional people skills and outgoing personality a must. Assistant guide's role is flexible enough to include Kayak, Raft and Walking tours as well as some basic office/phone duties.
